VisionWare's Information Sharing and
Assessment (ISA) Application enables practitioners to view details
of professionals who have been involved in the social care of
children, for example, social workers, GPs and schools. It
holds a chronological list of agency involvement, as well as
recording the name and contact number of every professional who has
interacted with that child.
The single view empowers professionals
to make earlier and more effective interventions as well as helping
them to identify whether a child is receiving the universal
services to which he or she is entitled.
-
The ISA user interface provides the
ability to search for information on children and view
the relevant associated data in a user-friendly format.
-
Administrative functionality enables
authorised users to manage the various areas of system including
user management, services management, private messaging and visual
customisation and branding.
- Strict security controls ensure
that access to ISA is granted only to pre-authorised individuals,
who in turn are only provided with access to the functions relevant
to their role.
- A closed-loop messaging facility
enables practitioners to securely share sensitive information
relating to children.
- Users have the option to integrate
their ISA system with access to ContactPoint, the National
children's database, through an accredited user
interface.
-
Improving the quality and
integration of services for children and young people by ensuring
that actions taken and decisions made are based on complete and
accurate information shared across inter-agency boundaries.
-
Identifying a child's needs earlier
through access to information relating to other professionals
involved with a child or who may have a concern.
-
Provision of a solution to
facilitate joint working by empowering professionals
and agencies to work in tandem, ensuring no child is
invisible.
