VisionWare Inc, a leading provider of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, today announced that the City of Boston has selected MultiVue Identification Server in order to improve the collection of funds that are owed to them by both individuals and organisations.
The City of Boston's Department of Management and Information Services has been moving towards a more integrated government concept for a number of years, with their main goal being to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government operations. Following a successful 'Proof of Concept' exercise, MultiVue will be used as part of this initiative to enhance the management of funds owed to the City by integrating data held across departmental ERP systems and coordinating payment processing between departments. This will provide the organisation with an overall, consolidated view of all money that is owed to them and ensure debtors are identified and managed appropriately throughout the organisation. The project will be delivered in conjunction with VisionWare's partner organisation, NWN Corporation.
Peter Clark, VisionWare's Business Development Manager for North America commented "We are delighted to be working with NWN and The City of Boston on this project. Through the original Proof of Concept, we demonstrated how MultiVue could be used by the City to ensure monies owed and bad payments are kept to a minimum, and we now look forward to continuing our work with this organisation to ensure they carry on realising the benefits of an organisation-wide view of their debtors."
Boston is VisionWare's first US client at City level, and joins their growing North American customer list which includes Alabama Medicaid Agency, the State of Wyoming Department of Health and San Diego County Sheriff's Department. The diversity in the size of population served by these organisations demonstrates the scalability and flexibility of VisionWare's solutions to support any organisation, regardless of its size or requirements.
